Gratitude is one of the most powerful stress reducers of all time. It’s an emotion that can make your life better in so many ways. How can you feel bad or stressed when you put up your guard with an attitude of gratitude? Simply put…you can’t.
Curating a life with gratitude has the power to slow you down, allowing you to be “mindful” and in the present moment. It turns what you have into enough. You will be surrounded by more abundance and happiness. You will begin to crush your goals.
When you practice gratitude, people around you will want what you have, and it’s up to you to show them how.
Here are some simple ways to develop your “attitude of gratitude”:
- Greet each day with love in your heart for others and yourself.
- Keep a gratitude journal. (To me, this is the most important step.)
- Notice beauty around you, even in the smallest creatures.
- SMILE!
- Surround yourself with like-minded people.
- Volunteer for a cause that’s close to your heart.
- Write 30 thank you notes to 30 different people in 30 days.
- Post positive affirmations on your mirror and read them daily.
- Get rid of the naysayers in your life and appreciation the good around you.
- Share your new “attitude of gratitude” on your social media, for the benefits you reap can change someone else’s life.
Easy enough, right? Be the one your heart desires and others will follow along. You must practice this new attitude every single day. By using these simple daily activities, you can set yourself up for a more rewarding and enjoyable life.
I am grateful for YOU.
